1 year and 6 mons. post relaxer. type 4c hair :) its come a long way. Im very proud of my hair. I’ll be straightening it on my birthday in december. By then it should’ve grown another 1.5 inches. So im really happy about that.!!!! I had blown it out earlier and the other two pics are just ways i wear my hair. Im natural because its me and i love me. <3 lol

No product Twist and Braid Outs.

So on last friday i washed my hair and did a blow out. it was originally supposed to STAY  a blow out but i was so bored, i did a twist out. I used shea butter and some humidity serum just to make sure my hair was moisturized and wore it out the next few days. I can honestly say, i don’t really need products in my hair to keep it looking nice and the mix i used kept my hair moisturized for a few days. I even just retwisted my hair and it came out nicer each day. I do have to stop messing with my hair everynow and then. But im now doing a braidout and i guess i’ll moisturize it tomorrow. I’ll even put up pics of the results. But 4c hair isn’t so bad to maintain. I’ve really been loving my natural hair journey

So this is my “i just washed my hair then turned it to a blowout” collage. Its pretty self explanetory. About 3 weeks ago, i bought Tresseme Natural (lower sulfates, due to research that my hair needed a shampoo with no sulfates but i only saw lower and its all i could afford…..anywho) and i’ve been using it a little and i see no real difference. Less hair does come out though! So i will keep using it for that purpose. I don’t use a specific conditioner because apparently i need medicated shampoo for this “adult cradle cap” i have sadly. I’ve been looking up a lot of information for my hair but it just seems like from my own experience my hair grows when i just leave it alone. But blowouts are the fun thing for me because it just fits my personality.

Heller. This is technically my first entry on my NATURAL HAIR DIARIES .. entry. lol I pretty much just don’t know how to start. But I’ve been natural for over a year. My texture is 4c and i can honestly say…. it’s been a good year. I didn’t go natural for the reasons EVERYONE else decided to go. I honestly just couldn’t afford perms lol. When i did start transitioning, i hated it. But it eventually grew on me. I’ve always loved the natural look and would attempt it with bulky hair and people said it fit me. I figured i’d go natural, i just never knew if i would stick to it. But i have and i love it. Erm… i’ll start posting up the little styles i do for my hair. Im VERY simple when it comes to my hair. I’d probably be what you’d call ALL natural because i hardly where make up or anything else like these “empowering” naturals do. I’ve always loved the skin i’m in, and being natural just seals my comfort. But yeah. I guess i’ll be doing these probably once a week who knows.lol
